At the Sceptermas Celebration celebration, he attempted to cheat at apple bobbing by blasting all the water and apples out of the barrel with his water-pushing ability, but the ref ruled it invalid. He then accepted Ser Tristan, The Gull Knight's joust challenge. On the first pass, both were unhorsed; on the second, he deliberately aimed his lance at the Gull Knight's body rather than his shield, nearly drawing blood, but the knight deflected it. Ser Perryn, The Tome Knight warned him about knightly conduct.
