A large cavern inside the mesa, revealed to be a spacious chamber rather than a tunnel. Its ceiling is a couple hundred apples high, and the cavern itself is a couple thousand apples wide. The party retreats here to escape the open sky where the avians had advantage, now facing the bird-people in close quarters.
