A winged magic swordsman revealed to be an undead creature. He wields a blade and can teleport using spells, having used three so far in the fight. Saren transforms with a purple-to-red glow, similar to an Aasimar's radiant transformation but with a different, possibly necrotic or fungal energy source, and can call down lightning strikes. He taunts his enemies and seeks to capture or kill Humperdinck, whom he calls a 'worthy prize.'
