Meenlock

Meenlocks (also called mean locks) are fearsome insectoid creatures that dwell in dark, cramped tunnels. They stand roughly 2–2.5 feet tall, with mandibles and pinchers, and can climb walls, teleport, and burrow through dirt. They possess a terrifying paralytic claw attack and a psychic aura that frightens nearby foes. They are vulnerable to bright light. A group of five meenlocks, including three CR3 variants, ambushed the party in the tunnels beneath the Brine Mother's lair. Their corpses can be harvested for frail essence.
