ABOUT KAZKAR
We're David and Danylo — two friends who fell in love with D&D and wanted to build something using the skills we have around the thing we love.
The idea came from an unexpected place. At our day jobs, we used an app called Gemini Notes that summarized work calls — and it described what happened better than we could ourselves. It saved hours and gave us clarity we didn't know we were missing.
One day we started remembering funny moments and characters from our previous games and realized we wanted to live through those moments again. The ridiculous NPC voices, the plans that went completely sideways, the clutch nat-20s — all of it fading into "remember that one time?"
So we asked a simple question: what if we could do for D&D sessions what Gemini Notes does for work calls?
That question became Kazkar.
What We're Building
Kazkar is becoming the storytelling companion for Dungeon Masters. We want to help DMs create better campaigns, preserve the memories their players make together, and ultimately push more people to join the TTRPG world.
Every session your group plays is a story worth keeping. Right now, most of those stories evaporate the moment the call ends. We're here to change that.
Our Take on AI
We know "AI" can be a loaded word — especially in creative spaces. So let's be clear about what Kazkar does and doesn't do.
Kazkar does not generate your story. It doesn't write dialogue your characters never said, invent plot points that didn't happen, or replace the creativity at your table with machine-generated content.
What it does is listen and remember. Your group plays the session. You tell the story. Kazkar captures what actually happened — the real dialogue, the real decisions, the real moments — and organizes it into something you can revisit and share.
We use AI to ingest human-made content, not to replace it. The creativity is yours. We just make sure it doesn't get lost.
