This Privacy Policy describes how Kazkar.ai ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner.

Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide and improve our service. This includes:

• Account Information: Your Discord account details and any other information you provide during sign-up through Discord OAuth.
• Campaign Data: Information you provide about your campaigns, players, and character names to improve chronicle generation.
• Audio Data: Session audio captured when you use the /summon command. Audio files are deleted from our servers 24 hours after processing completes. Transcripts and generated chronicles are retained so you can access them and benefit from future improvements.
• Usage Information: We may collect analytics data on how you interact with our service to help us improve it.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• Process your session recordings and generate narrative chronicles.
• Identify speakers in your sessions to attribute dialogue correctly in chronicles.
• Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support.
• Ensure the security of our service and prevent fraud.

Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We do not sell your data. Audio recordings are deleted from our servers 24 hours after processing. Transcripts, generated chronicles, lore, and campaign data are retained for your continued access.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to provide core functionality. These services process your data only as necessary to deliver the service and are bound by their own privacy policies:

• Discord: Authentication and voice channel access.
• Cloud infrastructure providers: Secure storage and processing of audio files and generated content.
• AI service providers: Speech-to-text transcription of session audio, and AI generation of narrative chronicles from the resulting transcripts. Per our agreements with these providers, your content is not used to train their AI models.
• Paddle.com Market Limited: Payment processing for paid subscriptions, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the data necessary to complete a purchase (name, billing address, payment instrument, email, IP address) and processes it under Paddle's Privacy Policy. We never see or store your full card number — we only retain the Paddle customer and subscription IDs so we can match webhooks to your account.

International Data Transfers

We operate from Ukraine and rely on the third-party providers described above to deliver the service. As a result, your information — including session audio and transcripts — may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, providers' certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We do not route your personal data to providers outside these safeguards.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal data. These apply in full to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland under the GDPR and equivalent laws:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data ("right to erasure").
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
